Pokertown: Cheater’s Paradise is a gritty Texas Hold’em simulator where playing fair won’t get you far.
Use real-world cheating techniques: bottom dealing, marking cards, stealing and swapping to outwit shady opponents, manage suspicion, and climb your way through a town where poker is played for money, pride, and sometimes your life.
The Premise
Welcome to Pokertown, a place where every poker table hides danger, deception, and opportunity. You’re not just playing cards: you’re gambling with your reputation, your bankroll, and maybe even your safety.
Across ten increasingly dangerous venues, you’ll face opponents with sharp personalities, sharper tempers, and even sharper connections to the criminal underworld. Winning means money and status. Losing could mean owing the loan shark, a trip to the hospital, or, if you cheat the wrong person, a one-way swim with the fishes.
Your only way forward is risk, cunning, and knowing exactly when to cheat.

Real Poker, Real Cheating
At its core, Pokertown: Cheater’s Paradise is a faithful Texas Hold’em experience. But unlike other poker games, you’re not bound by the rules.
Players can use real-world sleight-of-hand and hustling methods, including:
Bottom dealing to sneak yourself a winning card or ruin your opponent’s hand
Marking cards for an advantage in future hands
Stealing or swapping cards to change your fate mid-game
Each cheat comes with risk: pull it off smoothly and you’ll walk away richer. Push your luck too far and opponents will catch on.
In Pokertown, suspicion doesn’t end with a warning.
Managing Heat & Suspicion
Every action you take is weighed against your suspicion meter. Some opponents are easy marks and oblivious to your card tampering. Others will watch every flick of your wrist. You’ll need to carefully balance your cheating with genuine poker skill to avoid raising eyebrows. Successful cheating requires careful planning and strategy.
Colorful (and Dangerous) Opponents
You’re not just playing against faceless AI. Every opponent has a distinct personality, play style, and way of responding to your moves.
From hot-headed brawlers who flip the table when they lose, to cold professionals who silently track every card, learning your enemies is as important as learning the game.
Bankrolls & Loan Sharks
Every venue has an entry fee, and you’ll need to manage your winnings to stay in the game. If you go bust, the local loan shark is always ready to help… at a cost.
Just don’t take too long to pay him back.
Progression Through Pokertown
There are ten levels to conquer, each with higher stakes, tougher opponents, and harsher consequences if you’re caught.
Once unlocked, venues remain open, letting you choose whether to grind for cash in familiar haunts or push deeper into Pokertown’s dangerous high-stakes underworld.
